Paradise City Plaza Review: Things to Do with a Baby in Incheon, South Korea

I’m embarrassingly late on this one, but here’s the rest of my Paradise City hotel stay review from a month ago. If you’re planning a Paradise City Plaza with a baby trip in Incheon, South Korea, this part of the resort has more to do than I expected.
I still haven’t even finished writing all my reviews from that stay… classic me.
You can also check out my room review too.
Paradise City Plaza with a Baby
At Paradise City, there’s a huge open area called the Plaza,
filled with restaurants, shops, and curated retail spaces.
It feels almost like an indoor town square.

They also host outside events here,
and pop-up stores open pretty often, so during our stay
we ended up passing through the Plaza all the time.

On the day we visited, there was a sports dance competition going on,
so the music was loud and the whole place felt a little chaotic.

People were practicing and dancing all over the place,
so we had to keep weaving around them while using the facilities, which was honestly a little annoying.

Hotel guests pass through the Plaza to get to places like Wonderbox and Cimer,
and I was so disappointed that Wonderbox was temporarily closed.

You also can’t get to Cimer through the indoor hallway.
You have to exit the Plaza and walk across outside.

I spotted the parking fee information for Paradise City Plaza,
so of course I took a photo.
Once you start blogging, you automatically photograph stuff like this.

If you head out through the door on the outside of the Plaza building toward Cimer,
there’s also a CU convenience store. We grabbed some snacks there.
D.Throne Electric Car Rental at Paradise City Plaza
If you’re doing a hotel stay with a baby at Paradise City,
this is one of those fun little extras that’s worth trying at least once.
There’s a D.Throne store where you can test out
their luxury kids’ electric cars.

It’s located near the gallery, Art Space.

You can see the D.Throne electric cars and strollers in person,
and you can buy them there too.

Paradise City D.Throne pricing
You can rent the D.Throne electric car for 30 or 60 minutes,
but you’re only allowed to ride it around the Plaza area.
It’s the same at the Hanam Starfield location too—
there, you can only use it on the third floor of Starfield.

Since we have a daughter, we picked the pretty white car.

The baby sits in the car, and the adult stands behind it
to steer and drive.

There’s also space on the cushion behind the baby’s seat,
so one more person can sit there too.
Up to three people can ride in total.

At first, it was just dad and baby riding around,

and then mom hopped on behind the baby, so all three of us rode together.

It was easy to control and the ride felt smoother than I expected.
That said, because of the dance sports event that day,
there wasn’t much open space to ride around, and honestly,
you can get the full D.Throne experience without using the whole 30 minutes.
I actually wish they offered a 15-minute option.
Since the car itself costs in the 4 million won range, or roughly $3,000+,
and most people don’t really have a place to use something like this regularly,
I think it makes more sense to try it once in a while at Paradise City or Starfield
instead of buying one.
Baby Care Room

Deep inside the Plaza,
all the way on the opposite side from D.Throne,
there’s a baby care room and nursing room.

The diaper changing area was spacious and spotless,

and the feeding area for baby food was also pretty and clean.

There are also private individual nursing rooms,
so moms who are breastfeeding can use the space comfortably.

Outside, there’s even a sink, microwave, and water dispenser.
It had all the basic essentials you need when caring for a baby,
which is exactly why Paradise City in Incheon is such a good hotel stay option for families with kids.
Pop-Up Stores
The Plaza also hosts pop-ups pretty often.

When we visited, there was Osaka Ojisan Cheesecake, Dessert House, and another shop selling fruit-filled glutinous rice cakes similar to Hanjeongseon-style treats, though I didn’t catch the exact name.

About that Osaka Ojisan Cheesecake…
I thought it might be the real original cheesecake brand from Osaka finally coming to Korea,
but nope—it was basically a knockoff.
Even the old man illustration is slightly different from Rikuro Ojisan no Mise in Osaka, Japan,
but the sign definitely feels designed to make people think otherwise.

The reason I’m being this blunt is because
I bought the cheesecake and only realized the truth after I got home.
If it had at least tasted amazing, I wouldn’t have regretted it,
but the flavor was completely average.
Life4Cuts Photo Booth
If you go up to the second floor of the Plaza, there’s also a Life4Cuts booth.

What makes it fun is that they have a booth designed to look like an underwater shoot.

The camera is placed inside a fish tank,
so the photos come out looking like they were taken underwater.

We’d only ever done those free four-cut photo strips at pop-ups or events before,
so this was actually our first time paying for one.
My husband and I are both awkward in front of the camera, so the poses came out a little stiff, but still—
taking them with our baby made it fun,
and having fish in the frame made the whole thing feel extra unique.
If you’re planning a Paradise City Plaza with a baby stay, I definitely recommend trying it once.
